Where: Happy Valley Infield, Causeway Bay When: Monday 7pm (starting 17. Sept 2012) Group size: 9 people max H̶K̶D̶ ̶3̶0̶0̶ HKD 200.00 /person Jim Wendler, one of the most accomplished strength and conditioning coaches once said, that the 3 key components of every sport are:
1. Mobility 2. Strength 3. Conditioning Depending on your sport you will have different demands for each. A runner will not have to be as mobile as a gymnast, a swimmer will focus on strengthening other muscles than a wrestler, and a soccer player will need a different kind of conditioning than an ultra endurance athlete. Still every single component is vital to your performance. Drop one and you are bound to get hurt. Hampered mobility can lead to muscle imbalances, then to improper muscular compensations which lead to inefficient misalignments and the increased risk of injuries. This course is designed to improve already existing muscle imbalances and altered joint motion. The goal is to restore proper flexibility that allows for full range of motion, to improve its control for a better and more efficient sport performance. What you need:
Since class is fairly small I can still be flexible with times and location. If the group wishes to start at an earlier or later time it could be arranged. |
